Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University LL.B. Eligibility Test ( LL.B. E.T. ) Entrance Examination

Established on 1st May, 1983, the auspicious Maharashtra Day & Worker’s Day. This University geographically covers the western Vidarbha belt (i.e., five districts – Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim) of Maharashtra State. The University, in its small span of two decades, has contributed in many ways for economic, social and cultural upliftment of the society by offering quality education.

LLBET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University LL.B. Eligibility Test ( LL.B. E.T. ) Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria – 2014

The candidate desirous for appearing in the LL.B. E.T. examination for the purpose of admission to LL.B. ( Five years Degree course ) and LL.B. ( Three Years Degree Course ) shall have minimum eligibility as

a) For LL.B. ( Five Years Degree Course )  

Passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (12th Std) with English or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto, and have obtained 45 % marks in aggregate ( relaxable upto 5 % in case of students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes ). Provided, candidate having less than 45 % Marks but not less than 40 % marks in aggregate at the 12th Std. Examination shall be eligible for admission after he / she has qualified on securing minimum 50 % aggregate marks in the eligibility test conducted by the University.

AND

For LL.B. ( Three Years Degree Course )

Passed the examination for the Bachelor’s Degree in any of the faculties of the University or any other statutory University or Examination recognized as equivalent thereto or last higher examination specified under the rules approved by Bar Council of India with 45 % marks in aggregate ( relaxable upto 5 % in the case of students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes ). Provided, candidate having less than 45 % Marks but not less than 40 % marks in aggregate at the Degree level Examination [ or equivalent ] shall be eligible for admission after he  / she has qualified on securing minimum 50 % aggregate marks in the eligibility test conducted by the University.

Candidate will be declared eligible for admission to respective LL.B. courses [ within the colleges under University’s jurisdiction] if he / she secured 50 % or above marks in the LL.B. E.T. for respective academic year for which student appeared for LL.B. E.T. examination.

(vii) The University shall not assure admission to LL.B. (Five years Degree course) and LL.B. (Three Years Degree Course) to those, who have passed eligibility examination for the said purpose. The admissions would be finalized by the concerned Law colleges provided there is availability of remaining seats.

Otherwise the candidate will be on waiting list of the concerned colleges.

(viii) No complaint or any other matter will be entertained by the University in this respect.

(ix) Application for eligibility examination will not be considered unless it is–

a) Properly and correctly filled in, and signed by the candidate appearing for examination.

b) Accompanied by ’TRUE COPIES’ of the requisite certificates i.e. certified copies of mark lists, and –

c) Received in the office of the CASU [Central Administrative Service Unit] on or before the Last Date prescribed before closing hours.

Note:

Application(s) received after the LAST DATE will not be entertained in any circumstances.

Age Limit:

There is no age limit for appearing to the LL.B. E.T. eligibility examination.

The University will provide the list of eligible candidates to all the affiliated colleges running LL.B. courses under the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
