Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Exam Detail ( MAH MCA CET )

Government of Maharashtra conducts a Common Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to first year of three year full time regular post graduate degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for MCA Course (MAH MCA CET 2015) is conducted by the Competent Authority for the academic year 2015-16. Applications are invited for MAH-MCA-CET 2015 for admission to First Year / Direct Second Year ( Separate Division & Lateral Entry ) of Three year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Master of Computer Applications ( MCA ) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

MAH MCA CET 2021 Exam Pattern

Maharashtra common Entrance Examination ( MAH – MCA – CET ) Entrance Examination Test pattern – 2015 :

MAH–MCA-CET 2015 shall be conducted only in the ONLINE mode in multiple sessions at all examination centers which will include multiple choice objective type questions ( MCQs ),using standardized equip percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions.

The question paper for the CET will be set in English only.

Translations in any other languages will not be available.

The Online CET would be comprised of two online papers viz.

General Aptitude ( GA ) and

Computer Concepts ( CC ) of 100 marks each, with composite time of 90 minutes duration.

Each paper shall have 25 questions

Note that MAH–MCA-CET 2015 will have negative mark system.

Each correct answer will carry 4 marks.

Each wrong answer will carry 1 negative mark.

Unanswered questions will carry zero marks.

It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage at ARC as per the notified schedule.
