Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari Vidya Prabodhini Sanchalit College of Social Work

Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari Vidya Prabodhini Sanchalit College of Social Work, Jalgaon was established in 2000. It has been recognized by Maharashtra Government and affiliated to the North Maharashtra University. College of Social Work has been providing rich opportunities of Social Work Education to the youth in Jalgaon District . This college had to pass through  several down falls but continued with the valuable task of Social  Work Education over few years. The college is working an all-round development to the students for their educational and economical development. The Inspiration behind this work is our great freedom fighter Late Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari. The purpose of opening this institue was to fulfil the requirements of Late Dhanaji Nana Chauhari's Social & devotion to motherland.

The mission of the college is to provide professional training in social work and develop a sense of civic consciousness and social responsibility in the students; Develop leadership which can generate social economic growth in our society through the process of community Development & extension; Provide such insights and skill that will help in problems solving in any field of Society; Train personnel in policy making, planning, direct functionary work and research in the field of social welfare through classroom teaching, research and field work strengthened by various service project. The vision of the college is to identify problems that affecting society to economic and social development, to seek solution for removing them and to organise society to help themselves in solving them require considerable knowledge to human behavior. Socio-economics structures and process of development and change in a given society. In the college Co-curricular activities has a broad sweep which help the students to understand themselves and their society. The Class-room learning is reinforced during field work where students learn through first hand experience. The college strived to provide socially relevant education wherebuy it would not only professionals but also responsible citizens of country.
