Jagannath Barooah(jb) College

Jagannath Barooah College, located in Jorhat district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college has gained the status of one of the premiere institutes in Assam for its academic excellence, since its establishment in the year 1930. J.B. College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college is also assessed and accredited with a “B+” certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties. Besides, the college runs post graduate programs in Geography and Philosophy, affiliated to Dibrugarh University and MA and M.Com courses in several subjects, under the scheme of Distance Education conducted by Dibrugarh University. The college also conducts a number of professional courses.
