About College

Kashmir College of Education, Kashmir is well know by its standard of education for B.Ed programme, having a full team of renowned teachers in the faculty. The College is affiliated to the University of Kashmir & a recognized college of the UGC. Ever since its inception, the College has made a steady progress both in its infrastructural facilities as well as in imparting quality education. Starting with a meager number of 120 students in 2002, the College has today 320 students on rolls in 2010-11 session, drawn from various adjoining States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi including the home state of J &K.

The College strictly observes the stipulated norms laid down by the Kashmir University in efficiently running the B.Ed, training course. The dedicated and well qualified trained faculty in various disciplines manage the teaching and training programmes to produce the best trained radiates to be Teachers of Tomorrow with all the essential ingredients of capacity, building and core competence. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
