Pragathi Mahavidyalaya P.G.College

Pragathi Maha Vidyalaya, Hyderabad was established in 1969 by Shri Gujarati Pragati Samaj. Pragati Maha Vidyalaya took the responsibility of imparting higher education and serving the student community of the twin cities without any distinction of caste and creed. At present the Samaj is running commerce courses (B.Com) and B.Sc Courses at the undergraduate level. At the Post Graduate level, Pragati Maha Vidyalaya is running courses like M.Com, M.B.A and M.C.A. Pragati Maha Vidyalaya is also running the P.G Diploma Course in Taxation during evening. The College has achieved excellence and earned a distinctive place in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and also at the university and Government level.It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad

 

The College is housed in a land area of about 6000 square yards. The College has the unique privilege of starting M.Com course from 1982. The M.B.A Course started in 1987 and M.C.A from 1992 onwards. The admission to the above courses is based on the entrance test conducted by university/Government every year. Today Pragati Maha Vidyalaya is an educational institute that showcases the best of the entrepreneurial practices and committed academic talent in the field of higher education. The College has a lovely library with a wide variety of books, journals, and magazines. The College also has a well-equipped state of the art computer lab with latest Pentium machines and also high quality software supporting.
