That is way it is said “Health is Wealth”. Health comprises of two aspects viz prevention of diseases and promotion of health. Both depend upon the contribution of all members of medical fraternity of which Nurses the integral and important part. Life cannot be saved by medicines and surgery only. Nursing also plays a vital role in relieving the sufferings of the affiliated. The compassionate and loving touch of Nurses does much to relieve those who are sufferings from various ailments.There are a wide range of opportunities for a nurse in the field of health and for advanced studies to develop expertise in practice, administration and teaching.
