Siddhartha Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (SIHMCT), Vijayawada was established in 1975 is sponsored by Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education. The college is affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. The college is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (ACITE). State of the art technology and equipments has been established in all the kitchen labs. 

Institute is having three specialized kitchens with modern facilities and one separate bakery lab with high class equipments. Fully stocked model bar and restaurant is the specialty in the Food And Beverage Service Department High tech equipments installed in housekeeping and front office labs to provide up to date industrial experience to the students. Various skill oriented audio - visual training cassettes relating to the operational aspects of a hotel and also general topics are provided to the students for developing the overall interest.
