North-Eastern Hill University was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are "to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement".

Application in the prescribed form are invited for admission to the UG & PG courses of study in the North Eastern Hill University for B.Tech., B.Tech Lateral Entry & B.Arch.,M.Tech,Master of Tourism and Travel Management ( MTTM ) & Master of Food and Agri-Business Management Courses in the academic session 2015-16.Programme commencing from August, 2015

NEHU Engineering 2021 Merit List

North-Eastern Hill University Engineering Entrance Examination ( NEHU-EEE ) -2015:

For B.Tech., B.Tech Lateral Entry & B.Arch. Programme :

Application in the prescribed form are invited for admission to the courses of study in the North Eastern Hill University for / B.Tech., B.Tech Lateral Entry & B.Arch. Programme commencing from August, 2015.

Merit List For NEHU-EEE-2015 :

For B.Tech & B.Arch :

A merit list shall be prepared based on the GATE score and / or entrance examination conducted by concerned department. Selection should be based on Merit rank of the entrance exam conducted by concerned department.

For B.Tech Lateral Entry :

A merit list shall be prepared based on the score obtained in LEEE-2015 ( Lateral Entry Entrance Examination-2015 ) conducted by the department. The candidate should produce final year mark sheet at the time of appearing LEEE-2015 entrance exam.
Merit / Score being equal in the entrance exam. Percentage of marks obtained in Diploma / B.Sc. will be considered for the preparation of the merit list.
The distribution of seats and weightage shall be as per B.Tech. 1st year Admission process.
