Jamia Millia Islamia University MCA Entrance Examination Application Procedure - 2015 :
For MCA Courses
The Application for admission may only be submitted On-line at Jamia Millia Islamia’s website : http://jmi.ac.in/onlineadmissionform
Application Fee : Rs. 700/-
The fee may be paid either by Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking or through E-Challan generated during the filling up of form online.
In case of E-Challan the fee may be paid in any of the branches of Indian Bank.
The Application Fee once received successfully at JMI’s end is non-refundable and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained.
The JMI shall only refund the Application Fee in cases of failed transactions identified at JMI’s end.
Submission of Application forms :
(i) Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the instructions provided online during the Form Submission Process.
(ii) To Register for admission candidates are required to use the online form available atJMI’s Admission Portal:
http://jmi.ac.in/onlineadmissionform orhttps://www.onlinesubmit.in/jmiadmission2015 .
(iii) The Online Form submission process consists of two-phases viz
(a) Candidate’s Registration:
Entry of Basic Profile of the Candidate, and
(b) Entrance Application Submission:
Choosing of Program(s), Categoryand Submission of Entrance Application Fee ( Rs. 700/- or Rs. 500/-).
(iv) Before applying for admission, candidate is advised to ensure his / her eligibility as per the criteria laid down in the prospectus.
(v) A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from a board / university/institute recognized by JMI. Jamia Millia Islamia recognises degrees of all central universities, state universities, institutions of national importance and foreign universities, provided that their equivalence has been established by the Association of Indian Universities ( AIU ).
The Online Form submission process consists of two-phases viz
(a) Part – I ( Candidate’s Registration ): Entry of Basic Profile of the Candidate, and Upload of Photograph and Signatures
(b) Part – II ( Entrance Application Submission ): Choosing of Program(s), Filling up of Category / Special Provisions, Submission of Entrance Application Fee and Printing of Registration Slip & Admit Card.
During the Registration process, please keep the following ready:
A valid and readily accessible Email Id. Please note that, if required, JMI may use the registered email for future communication with the candidate.
Softcopy of candidate’s coloured passport size photograph ( Min 5 KB and Max 20 KB in size) in JPG / JPEG format with White Background.
Softcopy of candidate’s signature ( Min 5 KB and Max Size 10 KB in size ) in JPG / JPEG format

Instructions for filling Part – I of the Form:
Please select the check-box above the button to accept that you have read the Prospectus.
Once you press the “Click here to Apply (Part-I)” button given towards the bottom-right of this screen a screen seeking your personal information would be shown.
Enter the requisite data and press “Continue” button
Press “Upload Photograph & Signature Files” button
After uploading the Photograph and Signature Files press “Close” button
Verify the Contents / Photograph and Signatures by Clicking on “Preview” Button
Make necessary correction(s), if required. Please note that you will not be able to make any editing in the Name and Date of Birth provided in Part-1 at later stage.
Press “Submit” button to complete your registration
An email containing your Registration Number and Password will be sent to your email id. Follow the instructions given in the mail to complete Part-II of Application Submission.
1. Candidates from Kashmir who are facing problems while submitting the JMI's Entrance Application Fee through Online mode ( Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking ) are advised to print a Challan and get a Demand Draft of requisite amount prepared from any Nationalized Bank located in their respective areas. The DD should be in the name of

payable at New Delhi.
2. The DD & Challan may be subsequently submitted in the Office of Dean Students' Welfare, University of Kashmir latest by April 30, 2015 unto 02:00 p.m.
