Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research PG Nursing

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823.
This medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India.
This Medical College was later upgraded into Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).

JIPMER PG Nursing 2021 Exam Pattern

JIPMER PG 2018 Exam Pattern:

  1. JIPMER PG 2018 is a computer based test (online test) and will be conducted in the English medium only.
  2. The exam paper will have objective type questions.
  3. Duration of exam will be 3 hours for MD/ MS course and the number of questions will be 250.
  4. The paper will be divided into 2 sections- Basic Clinical Sciences (100 Qs) and Clinical Sciences (150 Qs).
  5. Every correct answer will be awarded +4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
