Established in 1969, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is the central government’s dedicated multi-skilled security agency primarily providing infrastructure protection services. It is one of the Central Police Forces (CPFs) under the control of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

Directorate General, Central Industrial Security Force ( CISF ), Ministry of Home Affairs has announced notification for the recruitment of 700 Head Constable / Ministerial vacancies in CISF-2015 for direct candidate and HC / Min ( LDCE ) 2015 for departmental candidates of CISF. 

 

CISF Police 2021 Sub Inspector (Executive) Recruitment

RECRUITMENT OF SUB INSPECTOR (EXE) THROUGH LDCE–2013

 

1. It is proposed to invite applications from eligible departmental candidates for filling up of 220 vacancies (UR-171, SC-33 and ST-16) of Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) against the recruitment year 2013. However, vacancies may increase/decrease at the time of final selection.

 

2. Only Constable/GD, Constable/Tradesmen, Head Constable/GD and Assistant Sub Inspector/Exe who have completed 4 years service including the period of training as on 01.08.2013 (i.e. those who have been appointed in the Force on or before 31.07.2009) are eligible to compete in this examination of LDCEand they may submit their applications as prescribed in Appendix “A” to this letter alongwith a certificate to the effect that no criminal/DE/ vigilance cases is pending as per Appendix- B-1, B-2 and B-3 through proper channel to their respective Zonal DIsG {i.e., DIG(NZ-I) New Delhi, DIG(SZ) Chennai, DIG(WZ-I) Mumbai, DIG(EZ) Patna and DIG(NEZ) Kolkata} provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in Para-6 below. Other appendices such as Appendix-C and Appendix-D are also to be completed in cases wherever they are applicable.

 

3. It is again reiterated that applications are to be submitted to territorial Zonal DIsG viz., DIG(NZ-I) New Delhi, DIG(SZ) Chennai, DIG(WZ-I) Mumbai, DIG(EZ) Patna and DIG(NEZ) Kolkata.

 

4. Applications of eligible candidates who are posted in the units under the administrative control of DIsG Plant or DIsG DAE or DOS or Airports or BNs or GBS or SSG or in Training Institutions will be forwarded directly to the respective territorial Zonal DIsG mentioned in Para-3 above by the respective Unit Commanders instead of routing the same through their DIsG. For example, applications in respect of personnel posted in RAPS Kota or VSSC Thumba will be forwarded directly by the respective Unit Commanders to DIG, NZ-I and DIG, SZ respectively instead of routing the same through DIG/DAE or DIG/DOS. Applications in respect of eligible departmental candidates posted in FHQrs will be forwarded to DIG, NZ-I, New Delhi through HQrs Estt Branch. The respective Branch will forward applications of personnel attached with this Directorate, to their respective units from where the same will be forwarded to DIG, NZ-I, New Delhi after verifying the service particulars of the candidate. No application will be sent to R&S Branch.

 

5. Applications duly completed, in respect of those CISF personnel who are on deputation to outside organizations will be submitted through proper channel to the nearest territorial Zonal DIsG under intimation to their parent unit. For example, a person is on deputation to SPG New Delhi from CISF Unit, DSP Durgapur, he will submit his application to SPG who in turn will forward the same directly to DIG, NZ-I, New Delhi under intimation to DIG DSP Durgapur.

 

The other eligibility conditions for appearing in the aforesaid competitive examination will be as under: -

 

Service Eligibility

Candidate should have completed four years of service including basic training as on 01.08.2013 as mentioned in Para-2 above.

Upper age limit

32 years as on 01.08.2013 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1981.Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. No age relaxation is applicable for OBC

Candidates as no vacancy are reserved for OBC category. OBC candidates can apply as General candidates

Educational qualification

Graduation from any recognized University.

d) Clean Record

The candidates must have good ACRs for last 04 years and should have unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment.

Stage - I

Checking of service records.

No marks are allotted. However, it should be ensured that candidates must have good ACRs for the last 04 years and unblemished service record till issue of offer of appointment.

Stage -II

Written  Examination

Written Examination will comprise of OMR Based question paper. There shall be one question paper of objective type multiple choice questions consisting of 200 marks with 3½Hours duration to assess the candidates in the following subjects.

Time: 03 ½ Hours. Marks: 200.

1.General Intelligence and reasoning – 50

2. General awareness & Professional knowledge – 50

3. Numerical ability – 50

4. Comprehension and communication skill – 50

 

Important: It will be necessary for each candidate to secure at least 45% marks in each part and 50% in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

Stage - III

Physical measurement

As applicable to SI/Exe (Direct Entry) candidates as mentioned in Para-6(e) above. No relaxation will be given in case a candidate has been appointed in lower rank with relaxed standard; such candidate will not be eligible to appear in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination.

Stage - IV

Physical Efficiency Test.

It will be of qualifying nature consisting of the following five items. PET shall not carry any marks.

Stage - V

Medical Examination

Detailed medical examination of those c candidates who come out successful in the Written Examination & PET will be conducted as per existing instructions and guidelines issued vide MHA UO No.I-45023/1/206-Pers.II(Part.III) dated 07.02.2008. Each candidate will be declared either “Fit” or “Unfit”, and one ill be categorized “Temporary Unfit”.

 

(vi) Final Selection

 Name of candidates will be placed in the merit list subject to the provision that candidate belonging to General category have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks i.e., 100 marks out of a total of 200 marks and candidate belonging to SC/ST category have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks i.e. 90 marks. Final selection of candidates will be made according to availability of vacancies and subject to their declaring ‘Fit’ in the medical examination.


LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION:

All eligible departmental candidates may submit their applications duly filled in Appendix-A, B-1, B-2 & B-3 to their respective Unit Commanders by 10.09.2013


i.e., last date for receipt of applications from all eligible candidates by the Unit Commanders shall by 10.09.2013. Candidates must ensure that applicant’s portion of Appendix-Á including Col.No.1 to 13, Appendix B-1, B-2 & B-3 are filled in before appending his/her signature.


 Last date of receipt of the above applications by the respective territorial DIsG (Application Receiving Centre) as mentioned in Para 2 above shall be 16.09.2013. The Unit Commanders while forwarding the applications will ensure that the following documents are duly attested by a Gazetted Officer:-


a) Certificate in support of belonging to SC/ST & Hill areas on the format as prescribed in Appendix “C” & “D” circulated vide this Directorate letter No.E-32017/3/06/Rectt/ 934 dated 25.05.2006.


b) Matriculation certificate in support of date of birth.


c) Degree certificate in support of educational qualification.


Note:


(1) In case it is revealed that any candidate, who has already availed three chances and submitted application by furnishing wrong information therein, his/her candidature will be rejected at this Directorate at the time of final selection. Besides, departmental action for furnishing wrong/false information in the application with malafide intention will also be initiated.


 (2) If there is any change/amendment in the eligibility condition, the same will be published in CISF website. Candidates may check the same from the website or from the office of Sector IsG/Zonal DIsG. Mere submission of the application does not give the candidate right to be considered unless he meets the eligibility requirements prescribed at the time of issue of admit cards. Applications received after 10.09.2013 (the last date of receipt of application) will not be accepted and summarily be rejected.
