Assam PAT 2019 – Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2019 is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. This examination provides entry in various Diploma courses offered by the polytechnic colleges of Assam. Assam PAT is conducted once in a year. The Application Form of Assam PAT 2019 is released on 1st March 2019 and the last date submission of the form is 5th April 2019. The exam of Assam PAT will be on 19th May 2019. Every year many numbers appear this examination. ASSAM PAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria of Assam PAT 2019 are the set of conditions prescribed by exam authorities that candidates have to meet in order to be considered for admission. Among the important Assam PAT eligibility criteria that candidates are required to meet include that of qualifying exam passed, minimum marks, age limit, and also domicile. Assam PAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualifying exam – The candidate must have passed H.S.L.C or an equivalent exam in one attempt with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum marks – The candidate needs to have scored a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science have taken together. The minimum marks for SC candidates is 35% and 33% for ST candidates.
  • Physical fitness – All applicants need to be physically and mentally fit.
  • Residential eligibility – Only permanent residents of Assam who hold Indian nationality may apply. 
  • Age limit – The upper age limit is 21 years as on August 1, 2019. 
    • For General category- 20 years 4 months as on December 12, 2019
    • For SC/ST- 23 years 4  months as on Dec 12, 2019
    • For Institutions outside the Assam- 20 years 4 months as on December 12, 2019
