Combined Defense Service Exam ( CDSE )

The "Combined Defence Services" Examination (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

CDSE 2021 Admit Card

CDS Admit Card for stage 1 has been released on January 11, 2019. Visit UPSC’s website (http://www.upsc.gov.in) to download it. The Commission has scheduled CDS I for February 03, 2019 at 41 centers across India. The e-admit card will not be sent via post. Enter the issued registration no. and date of birth to access the document.

  • On the homepage, check the ‘What’s New’ Section and click on “e-Admit Card-CDS Examination (I) 2019” link.
  • A new page will open, click on ‘Download’ link.
  • Read all the instructions carefully. (Take a print out of the instructions, if needed)
  • Click on yes and a new page will open
  • Enter the following details in the fields provided.
  • Registration number and date of birth OR
  • Roll number and date of birth OR      
  • Name, Father’s Name, and date of birth
  • After filling the details, click on the ‘submit’ tab.
  • The online Admit card for CDS 2019 will appear on the screen.
  • Download and print copies of the same. Admit card should be preserved for future correspondence.
