Combined Defense Service Exam ( CDSE )

The "Combined Defence Services" Examination (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

CDSE 2021 Results

The result of CDS 2019 will be declared only for those candidates who will score minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as fixed by the Commission in their discretion. The written exam result of CDS I 2019 will be declared in a pdf file format.

To check their results, candidates must perform the following steps:

  • Go to the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the link given for CDS I 2019 Result OR
  • Go to the examination tab and click on “Active Examination” and navigate to CDS I 2019 Result link.
  • Click on it, a pdf will appear with the names of qualifying candidates.
  • Candidates who will qualify the CDS 2019 written exam will be called by Service Selection Board for psychological aptitude test, intelligence test and interview.

The examination authority will prepare the merit list of all the qualified candidates based on the total marks secured by them and accordingly, they will be selected for the CDS 2019 courses.
