IIO - International Informatics Olympiad

International Informatics Olympiad endeavours to assess the competency and proficiency of the students in the field of Computer Science, at National and International level, every year. Its syllabus comprises of the syllabus of CBSE/ICSE and various State Boards. The iiO examination is based on Computer Science, which provides ample opportunity to the students not only to test their skills but also sharpen them accordingly and provide know how about International standard. Please refer the books published by Silverzone for the preparation of iiO. We recommend the competition for each and every student in the school.

Exam Structure

Level 1

All students of classes 1st to 12th are eligible to take part in Level 1.

Level 2

Top 500 Olympiad rank holders of the 1st Level from each class will compete for top positions in 2nd level examination. All Class 1st rank holders with minimum 60% of marks with minimum 100 students from a particular school are also eligible for Level 2.

Level 3

Olympiad 1st Rank Holders of classes 6th to 12th from 2nd level will be eligible for Level 3. Level 3 will be conducted at New Delhi, India.

Important Dates

Level-1

As iiO 2018 is being organised at National and International level, due to various reasons, it is not possible to conduct the olympiad on a specific single date. The Informatics Olympiad will be conducted on 30th October 2018 and 06th December 2018. Please decide the date which is suitable to your school.

You may opt for either 30th October 2018 or 06th December 2018 as your International Informatics Olympiad date. Last date of registration is 31st August 2018.

The Result of the 1st Level will be available at www.silverzone.org in the month of January 2019.

Level-2

The 2nd Level will be conducted in the month of January/February 2019. The awards, prizes and certificates will be sent to the school within 3 to 4 weeks after the declaration of result at our website.

Level-3

Level 3 will be conducted in the month of May/June 2019 at New Delhi.

The cost of Olympiad Comprehensive Book (Rs. 120/-), Previous Year QuestionPaper Booklet (Rs. 150/-) and Computer Olympiad Excellence Guide (Rs. 280/-) is not included in the fee.

For Schools Outside India:

The participation fee for the Olympiad is USD$8 per student, out of which USD$2 shall be retained by the school against its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator(s) and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges and photocopying, etc.

IOM - International Olympiad of Mathematics

The International Olympiad of Mathematics (iOM), a test of competence and knowledge in the subject of Mathematics, is held annually at National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ ICSE and the State Boards. Detailed syllabus with Sample Question Paper is provided along with this Information Booklet. Please refer to the books published by SilverZone for the preparation of iOM or visit www.silverzone.org. iOM recommends the competition for each and every student who is Studying Mathematics as their subject in the school.

IOS - International Olympiad of Science

The International Olympiad of Science, a test of competence and proficiency in Science, is held annually at the National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ ICSE and the State Boards. Apart from syllabus, a part of test paper is based on the Applied Science. Detailed syllabus with sample question paper is provided along with this Information Booklet. Please refer the books published by Silverzone for the preparation of iOS. SSE recommends the competition for each and every student who is Studying Science as their subject in the school.

Students judge themselves at International levels. The tests at local or regional level do not provide the right insight and judgement about the challenges ahead.

iOS builds a solid foundation for school students to excel in Science based on ICSE, CBSE and State board syllabus.

A comprehensive report based on Olympiad examination enables students to delever deeper into their strengths and weaknesses. It also motivates them towards excellence.

iOS promotes Science talents from school to National and higher levels by recognising their merits and awarding them.

ITHO - International Talent Hunt Olympiad

The International Talent Hunt Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in Science, Maths and Mental ability, is held annually at the National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ ICSE and the State Boards. Apart from syllabus, a part of test paper is based on the application of knowledge. The syllabus for the iTHO' is provided on the last page of this 'Information Brochure'. Please refer the books published by 3GenX for the preparation of iTHO. SSE recommends the competition for each and every student who is studying science and Maths as their subjects of study in the school.

ISSO - International Social Studies Olympiad

The International Social Studies Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in History, Geography and Civics is held annually at the National and International levels based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. Detailed syllabus with Sample question paper is provided along with this Information Booklet. Please refer the Books published by Silverzone Foundation for the preparation of ISSO. SilverZone foundation recommends the competition for each and every student in the school.

Important Dates

As iSSO 2018 is being organized at National and International level, due to various reasons, it is not possible to conduct the olympiad on a specific single date. The International Social Studies Olympiad will be conducted on 27th November 2018 and 19th December 2018. Please decide the date which is suitable to your school.

You may opt for either 27th November 2018 or 19th December 2018 as your International Social Studies Olympiad date. Last date of registration is 30 September 2018.

The Result of the 1st Level will be available at www.silverzone.org in the month of January 2019.

For Schools Outside India (for class 1st to 10th) Preparatory work Books for ISSO is available for classes 1 to 10. Although the purchase of this book is optional, it is highly recommended by the foundation for better result in the Olympiad, as it contains about 80% of the syllabus of the Olympiad as well as the CBSE/ICSE and other State Board’s syllabus.

IRAO - International Reasoning & Mental Ability Olympiad

The International Reasoning & Mental Ability Olympiad (For Classes 3rd to 12th), a test of competence and proficiency in Reasoning & Aptitude is scheduled to be held annually at the National and International levels based on syllabus designed by top level academicians. Detailed syllabus with Sample question paper is provided along with this Information Booklet. Please refer the Books published by Silverzone Foundation for the preparation of IRAO. SilverZone foundation recommends the competition for each and every student in the school from Classes 3rd to 12th.

The Smart Kid General Knowledge Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in General Knowledge, (based on subjects like History, Geography, General Science, Current affairs and sport etc.) is held annually at the National levels based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. SSE recommends the competition for each and every student in the school.
