(i) ADH deficiency causes Diabetes insipidus.
(ii) Insulin deficiency causes Diabetes mellitus.
(iii) Deficiency of Vasopressin or Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) reduces reabsorption of water in kidney and causes an increase in urine output (polyurea).
(iv) Deficiency of insulin causes excretion of excess glucose in the urine (Glycosurea).
