Natural vegetation can be classified as tropical evergreen forests, tropical deciduous forests, tropical dry forests, desert and semi desert vegetation, mountain forests, Alpine forests, Tidal forests, coastal forests, and Riverine forest.

Wildlife sanctuary is an area where wild animals and plants are protected. It is a declared protected area where very limited human activities are allowed.

(i) These forests are found along the rivers on Khadar areas.
(ii) These are known for Tamarisk and Tamarind trees.
(iii) The rivers of Great Plains are more prominent for this type of natural vegetation.

(i) Because of the atmospheric pressure conditions, the winds blow from southwest to northeast direction in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.
(ii) They bring pre monsoon showers to the west coast during the month of May. There are few thunder showers called "Mango Showers" which helps in quick ripening of mangoes along the coast of Kerala and Karnataka.

Factors like latitude, distance from the sea, monsoon wind, relied on features and jet stream affect the climate of India.

The most important trees are Rubber, Mahogany, Ebony, Rosewood, Coconut, Bamboo, Cinchona, Candes, Palm, Iron wood and Cedar.

The deltas of Mahanadi, Godavari and Krishna rivers.

The sudden approach of monsoon wind over south India with lighting and thunder is termed as the 'break' or 'burst of monsoon'.
