Neural tissue is made up of nerve cells or neurons. They facilitate conduction of nerve impulses.

Muscular tissues are made of muscle fibres and help in articulation of limbs and movement of other organs.

Sheets are located in the dermis of skin, periosteum of the bone, perichondrium of cartilage, pericardium of heart, etc. Sheets provide strength. Tendons are located between skeletal muscles and bones. They connect muscles with bones. 

The clitellum divides the earthworm's body into three basic regions
(i) Preclitellar Anterior 13 segments
(ii) Clitellar Only 3 segments
(iii) Postclitellar Last 84-104 segments

(i) Gap Junction 
(ii) Tight Junction
(iii) Adhering Junction

Smooth muscle fibres taper at both ends. They do not show any striation.

Mature cartilage cells - Chondrocytes

Specialized connective tissues include adipose, cartilage, bone, blood, and lymphatic tissues. These tissues contribute to diverse functions. Adipose tissue is a loose specialized connective tissue that functions primarily in energy storage and release, temperature insulation, organ protection, and hormone secretion.

Areolar tissue is the loose connective tissue made up of a sticky matrix with fibers like white collagen and yellow elastic fibers and abundant mucin content.

Neuron

Mouth Parts of Cockroach. Anterior end of the head bears appendages forming biting and chewing type of mouth parts. The mouth parts consist of following structures:
(a) Labrum (upper lip),
(b) A pair of mandibles,
(c) A pair of maxillae and
(d) Labium (lower lip).
Apart from these a median flexible lobe, acting as tongue (hypopharynx), lies within the cavity enclosed by the mouth parts.

Malphighian tubules are the amin excretory organs of cockroach.

Features: Stratified epithelium is made up of many layers of cells. In the skin the innermost layers are made of cuboidal or squamous cells. The outer layers are made of keratinised epithelium. Keratinised epithelium cells have lost their nucleus and contain a lot of keratin that help in protection.
Role in the skin:
Keratinised stratified epithelium is found in the skin because-
1. This epithelium contains dead cells with a lot of insoluble protein called keratin therefore providing the epidermis of the skin with protection against germs and desiccation.
2. They have a minimum role in secretions in the skin.
3. The secretions in the skin are due to glandular epithelium and not by the keratinised stratified epithelium.
