Let m2 be the slope of the line 4 x + 3y + 5=0. Then m2=-\(\frac { 4 }{ 3 } \)
Since given lines are perpendicular. Therefore,
m1m2=-1 ⇒ \(\frac { 2a-3 }{ a+2 } \times -\frac { 4 }{ 3 } \)=-1 ⇒ 3a+6 ⇒ a=18/5.

(x - 2y - 3) (x + y + 5) = 0
x2 + xy + 5x - 2xy - 2y2- 10y - 3x - 3y - 15 = 0
x2- 2y2- xy + 2x -13y - 15 = 0
