The process of decomposition of an emulsion into its constituent liquids is called demulsification. Examples of demulsifiers are surfactants, ethylene oxide, etc.

(iii) When solid is dispersed in water, it is called hydrosol, e.g. starch dispersed in water.

(i) Blood is a colloidal solution of albuminoid substance. The styptic action (blood stopping action) of alum is due to coagulation of blood forming a clot which stops further bleeding.
