\((2 a+b+3 c)+\left(a+\frac{1}{3} b+\frac{2}{5} c\right) \)
\(=(2 a+a)+\left(b+\frac{1}{3} b\right)+\left(3 c+\frac{2}{5} c\right) \)
\(=(2+1) a+\left(1+\frac{1}{3}\right) b+\left(3+\frac{2}{5}\right) c \)
\(=3 a+\frac{4}{3} b+\frac{17}{5} c \)

Area of rectangle = l x b
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)
Their difference is 20.
Algebraic equation is I x b - 2(l + b) = 20

(5ab - 3b + 2c) - (2ab + 4b - c)
= (5ab - 3b + 2c) + (-2ab - 4b + c)
= (5ab - 2ab) + (-3b - 4b) + (2c + c)
= (5 - 2)ab + (-3- 4)b + (2 + 1)c
= 3ab + (-7)b + 3c
= 3ab - 7b + 3c

Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of 3 sides
(x + 3y) + (2x +y) + (x - y)
= (x + 2x + x) + (3y + y - y)
= (1+ 2 + 1 ) x + (3 + 1 - 1 )y
= 4x + 3y
5.
Let the number be x.
According to the condition,
Given 40 - 6x = -8
40 - 6x - 40 = - 8 - 4
[Subtract 40 on both sides]
-6x = - 48
\(\cfrac { -6x }{ -6 } =\cfrac { -48 }{ -6 } \)
[Divide by -6 on both sides]
x = 8
\(\therefore\) The number is 8
