Questions + Answers key
Take MCQ Maths Test1.
In a right angled triangle ABC, ㄥB is right angle, ㄥAis x + 1 and ㄥC is 2x + 5. Find ㄥAand ㄥC.
2.
If the three angles of a triangle are in the ratio 3: 5: 4, then find them.
3.
Observe the figure and find the value of
ㄥA + ㄥN + ㄥG + ㄥL + ㄥE + ㄥS.

4.
In each of the following triangles, find the value of x.

5.
Can you draw a triangle with 250, 650 and 800 as angles?
1.
In right ΔABC,
∠A + ∠B + ∠C =180°
(x+1) + 90o + 2x + 5 = 180°
3x + 96 = 180°
3x = 180o- 96
3x = 84o
\(x=\frac{84^{\circ}}{3}=28^{\circ}\)
x = 28o
∠A = x + 1 = 28°+ 1 = 29°
∠C = 2x + 5 =2 x 28+ 5 = 56 + 5 = 61 °
∠LA = 29°
∠C = 61°
2.
Let the three angles are 3x, 5x and 4x
= 3x, 5x, 4x = 180°
12x = 180°
\(x=\frac{180^{\circ}}{12}=15^{\circ}\)
3x = 3 x 15°= 45°
5x = 5 x 15°= 75°
4x = 4x 15°= 60°
The three angles are 45°,75°, 60°
3.
\(\angle A+\angle N+\angle G+\angle L+\angle E+\angle S\)
\(=\underbrace{\angle A+\angle E+\angle G}_{\text {Sum of three angles of } \Delta}+\underbrace{\angle S+\angle N+\angle L}_{\text {Sttm of three angles of } \Delta}\)
= 180o + 180o = 360o
4.
\(\angle E+\angle F+\angle G={ 180 }^{ 0 }\)
800 + 55o + x = 180o
135o + x = 180o
x = 180° - 135° = 45°
x = 45o
5.
No, we cannot draw a triangle with 25o, 65o,and 80o as angles
Sum of the angles = 25°+ 65° + 80° = 170° ≠ 180°
From the given angles, we cannot draw a triangle
