Let the Kumaran total salary be x.
1. Kumaran spends Rs.6000 for Rent.
i.e.,15% of x = 6000
\( \frac{15}{100} \times x =6000 \)
\(x =\frac{6000 \times 100}{15}\)
x = 40000
Money spent for education = 20% of x
\(=\frac{20}{100} \times 40000\)
= Rs. 8000
2. Total salary of Kumaran is Rs. 40000.
3. Money spent more for food than education
= (50 - 20)% of x
= 30 % of x
\(=\frac{30}{100} \times 40000\)
= Rs. 12,000
