Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system for capturing, storing, checking and displaying data related to positions on Earth's surface. Also to manipulate, analyze, manage and present special or geographic data.

The decline in the thickness of the ozone layer over restricted area is called Ozone hole. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) damages the ozone layer to a great extent.
