a. centre and radius:
Ribbon: Home > Draw > Circle drop-down > Center, Radius
Toolbar: Draw > Circle
Menu Bar: Draw > Circle
Command: CIRCLE or C
b. centre and diameter:
Drawing a Circle by Specifying Center and Diameter
1. Click Home > Draw > Circle > Center, Diameter on the ribbon. (or) Type CIRCLE or C in the Command line.
2. The following message appears in the command line.
Specify center point for circle or [3P/2P/Ttr (tan radius)]: Left-click with the mouse anywhere on the screen. (or) Type a Value.
Specify radius of circle or [Diameter]: Enter D for Diameter option.
Specify diameter of circle: Enter the value of Diameter.

LINE:
LINE Specify first point: Start point.
Specify next point or [Undo]: Position the cursor and then enter distance.
Specify next point or [Undo]: Position the cursor and then enter distance.
CIRCLE:
Drawing a Circle by Specifying Center and
Diameter
1. Click Home > Draw > Circle > Center, Radius on the ribbon.
2. Select an arbitrary point in the graphics window to specify the center point:
3. Type a value as the radius and press ENTER.
ERASE:
Method 1
Select the Erase command first and then select the objects to be erased.
Press Enter Key and the objects selected will disappear.
Method 2
Select the object to be erased.
Press the Delete Key.

(i) Click View tab Palettes panel Command Line.
(ii) Find. Press Ctrl + 9.
(iii) At the Command prompt, enter COMMANDLINE or COMMANDLINEHIDE.
(iv) L. It can be used for making simple lines in the drawing.
(v) C. It is the command used for making a circle in AutoCAD.
(vi) PL. This command can be used to make a Polyline in your drawing.
(vii) REC. This command will make a rectangle in AutoCAD.

Animation is the process displaying still images so quickly so that they give the impression of continuous movement.
(i) In animation the screen object is a vector image in animation.
(ii) Using numerical transformations the movement of that image along its paths is calculated for their defining coordinates.
(iii) The least frame rate of at least 16 frames per second gives the impression of smoothness and for natural looking it should be at least 25 frames per second.
(iv) Animations may be in two or three dimensional.
(v) The two dimensional animation, bring an image alive, that occur on the flat X and Y axis of the screen.
(vi) While in three dimensional animation it occurs along the three axis X, Y and Z. Animation tools are very powerful and effective.
(vii) The two basic types of animations are Path animation and Frame animation.

Multimedia has five major components like text, images, sound, video and animation. They are explained in detail below:
Text:
(i) Text is the basic components of multimedia and most common ways of communicating information to other person.
(ii) Even though multimedia includes images, video, audio and graphics; Text is the basic components used in multimedia.
Static Text:
(i) Static text, the text or the words will remain static as heading or in a line, or in a paragraph.
(ii) The words are given along with the images to explain about the images.
(iii) In static text the words will either give information or support an image or an video.
Hypertext:
(i) A hypertext is a system which consists of nodes, the text and the links between the nodes, which defines the paths he user need to follow for the text access in non-sequential ways.

(i) By welding you can create irregular shapes.
(ii) The welded objects take on the outline and fill of the object that was selected last.
(iii) Welded objects can revert to their original individual objects only by using the Undo button.
To weld objects sing Property Bar
(i) Select the objects with the Pick tool by holding the Shift key.
(ii) Choose Object > Shaping > Weld in the menu bar (or)
(iii) Click on Weld button on the Property bar.
(iv) The objects will be welded and will become a single outline object.
10.
To fill colour to any object:
(i) Select the object using the Pick tool.
(ii) Click on any colour on the Color palette.
(iii) The selected colour will be applied to the object.
(iv) Right click on any colour on the Color palette.
(v) The outline colour of the selected object will change to the selected colour.

To specify the Undo settings
1. Choose Tools > Options in the menu bar.
2. In the Workspace list of categories, click General
3. In the Undo levels area, type a value in one or both of the following boxes:
(i) Regular - specifies the number of actions that can be reversed when you use the Undo command with vector objects.
(ii) Bitmap effects - specifies the number of actions that can be reversed when you work with bitmap effects.
The keyboard shortcut is
(i) To Undo an action, press Ctrl + Z.

There are two types of spirals. They are
(i) Symmetrical spiral:
A Symmetrical spiral expands evenly so that the distance between each revolution is equal.
(ii) Logarithmic spiral:
A Logarithmic spiral expands with increasingly larger distances between revolutions.

Making Characters Superscript or Subscript
You can change the text in Superscript or Subscript from Control palette:
(i) Select the character that you want to change Superscript or Subscript.
(ii) Click on one of the buttons in the Control palette.

(iii) The character you selected changes to the required one.
15.
Type Tool ()
(i) The Type tool is used to enter and edit text.
(ii) To create a text frame, select the Type tool and drag the tool in the document window.
(iii) To select the Type tool, press T.
Path Type Tool ( )
(i) The Path Type tool is used to enter and edit text on a path (Adobe calls this the "Type on a Path" tool).
(ii) To add text on a path, select the Path Type tool and click the tool on a path. A flashing text insertion point (or text cursor) appears on the path.
(iii) At this point, text you enter will flow along the path.
(iv) To select the Path Type tool, press Shift +T.

When you click the Add Anchor Point tool on a selected path, InDesign adds a point at that location on the path.
16.
Tools panel:
The Tools panel contains selection tools, tools for drawing basic shapes, path drawing and editing tools, transformation tools, text editing tools, navigation tools, and object formatting tools.
(i) By default, the Tools panel is docked under the Control panel.
(ii) All tools are found in the Tools panel, located along the left side of your document window.
17.
To make page numbers appear on every page
(i) Click on Master Pages icon.
(ii) Then click on Text Tool. Now the cursor changes to I - beam.
(iii) Then click on the left Master page where you want to put the page number.
(iv) Press Ctrl +Alt + P.
(v) The page number displays as 'LM' on the left Master Page.
(vi) Similarly click on the right Master page where you want to put the page number.
(vii) Press Ctrl +Alt + P.
(viii) Tile page number displays as 'RM' on the right Master Page, but will appear correctly on the actual pages.
18.
➝ Draw a second frame with the Frame tool of your choice.
➝ Click the first frame to select it.
➝ Click on the red triangle to load the text icon.
➝ Click the second frame. PageMaker flows the text into the second frame.(i)

(i) Adobe PageMaker is a page layout software.
(ii) It is used to design and produce documents that can be printed.
(iii) You can create anything from a simple business card to a large book.
(iv) Page layout software includes tools that allow you to easily position text and graphics on document pages.
(v) For example, using PageMaker, you could create a newsletter that intended articles and pictures on each page.
