1.
Musical Instrument Digital Identifier (MIDI) is a standard communication tool developed for computers and electronic instruments. This tool is flexible and easy.
2.
There are two different dimensional Animations present.
(i) Two dimensional Animation X, Y.
(ii) Three dimensional Animation X, Y, Z.

Compression - techniques are used to reduce the file size of images that is useful for storing large number of images and speeding transmission for networked application.
Examples: GIF, TIFF and IPEG compression techniques are used.

Based on number of bits is used we can determine the number of colors, and the color depth is determined.
Example:
1 bit = 2 colors (21)
4 bit = 16 colors (24)
8 bit = 256 colors and so on. (28)
Number ofcolors = 2n, where n is number of bit.

Path Animation : Path animation involves moving an objecton a screen that has a constant background.
Frame Animation : In frame animations, multiple objects are allowed to travel simultaneously and the background or the objects also changes.

(i) Relatively small amount of data is required to represent the image and thereby only less memory is needed to store.
(ii) Compression techniques are used to reduce the file size of images that is useful for storing large number of images and speeding transmission for networked application.

The word multimedia consists of twowords "multi" and "media" which means that multipel forms of media are combined to gether and provide services like storage, communication. presentation and Input/Output interactions of text, video, image, graphics and audio.
