To erase an object,
(i) Start the ERASE command by choosing
(ii) Home tab > Modify panel > Erase tool. (or) Type ERASE (or) E in the Command line. Now the cursor changes from the crosshairs to a little square.
(iii) This is called the pick box.
(iv) Its appearance indicates that AutoCAD is ready for you to select objects on the screen. Also note the command line;  it's prompting you to select objects.

you can turn it off with the UCSICON command. Type the command name, and then enter the Off option, as follows:
(i) Command: ucsicon (Press ENTER.)
(ii) Enter an option [ON/OFF/All/No origin/Origin/Properties ]: off (Press ENTER.)

(i) Timeline is the record of every frame, layer and scene that makes up a movie.
(ii) It controls and organizes the movie's content over time using layers and frames.

(i) AVI (Audio Video Interleave),
(ii) MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group)

The property bar is next to Standard toolbar.
(i) It displays the most commonly used functions that are relevant to the active tool.
(ii) Even though it looks like a toolbar, the property bar content changes depending on the tool or task.

When you start InDesign for the first time, you see the default workspace called "Essentials", with the Control panel and Tools panel along the top and left side of the InDesign window.
