Clean Screen
(i) The Clean Screen button hides most interface elements such as the Ribbon, and maximizes the drawing area to focus on the current drawing.
(ii) This button is at the lower right comer of the screen.
(iii) Choose the Clean Screen button again to restore the previous display state of the screen.
 

Dynamic Input (F12)
(i) The Dynamic Input button in the status bar is used to turn the Dynamic Input on or off.
(ii) If the Dynamic Input mode is turned on, the x, y coordinates and prompts show when the cursor hairs are moved.
(iii) Using the F12 key, you can turn the Dynamic Input, on or off.

The Status Bar which is located below the command line, and docked in the lower right corner of the window is called Application Status Bar.

The Navigation Bar is displayed in the drawing area and contains navigation tools.

(i) The File tab bar is located at the bottom of the Ribbon.
(ii) In the bar, all the tabs added get arranged in the sequence in which the respective drawings are created.
(iii) Using mouse you can change the sequence of tabs in the File tab bar.

Products such as games, educational software, online advertisements and product demonstrations are referred to as applications.

(i) It is used to transform a gradient fill by adjusting the size, direction, or center of the fill.
(ii) The Free and Gradient Transform tools are grouped within one icon on the Tools panel.
(iii) To see the menu containing grouped tools, click and hold the tool icon until the menu opens

(i) The Tools panel contains a collection of tools.
(ii) When you move the mouse pointer on a tool, its name appears, Some tools in the Tools panel have additional options that allow you to modify their use.
(iii) For example, the Brush tool has options for changing the size and shape of the brush head. When the tool is selected, the options are available in the Options area of the Tools panel.

(i) The Flash Tools panel includes the tools you need to create, select, or edit graphics on the Stage.
(ii) The double, arrows at the top of the Tools panel are used to collapse the panel to icon only view, or to expand the panel and see all the tools.
(iii) By default, the toolbar is on the right side of your screen.

(i) A red vertical line in the Timeline is called the Playhead.
(ii) When the movie plays, the playhead moves through the frames in the Timeline.

(i) The combination of picture, images, text & colors that gives us any type of infomation is called graphics.
(ii) It is printable. Exp. Hording, banner, logo.

(i) Video-on-demand is existing video or an archived webcast available for people to watch on the web any time.
(ii) The original video can be digitized as a Real Media, Windows Media, QuickTime, or Flash Video file and can be viewed with the appropriate player.

(i) HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface.
(ii) HDMI is an audio video interface that is used to transmit both digital audio and video streams of data which are uncompressed and encrypted.

WMV (Windows Media video) is a generic name for video encoding solutions developed by Microsoft.
(i) The format is a part of the Windows Media framework that also includes formats like Windows Media Audio (WMA), Advanced Systems Format (ASF) and High Definition Photo (HDP). 
(ii)  WMV files use the Microsoft container format and represent Microsoft's own version of MPEG-4 (Part 2) video encoding technology.

Status bar is the area at the bottom of the document window.
i) It displays information about selected object properties such as type, size, colour, fill type and outline.
ii) The status bar also displays the current mouse position in the document window.

(i) A Docker window is so called because it is generally docked to all right edge of a main window. 
(ii) To open two or more docker windows at a time these windows remain in a tabbed position and you can bring the desired window in front by clicking its tab.

To open or close the Tools panel
(i) Choose Window > Tools to close the Tools panel. To reopen the Tools panel, choose Window > Tools again. (or)
(ii) Press Tab key (with any tool but the Type tool selected) to close all open panels, including the Tools panel. To reopen those panels, press Tab again.
(iii) We can also close a floating Tools panel by clicking its Close box.

(i) The Zoom tool.
(ii) The zoom commands in the View menu: Zoom In, Zoom Out, Fit Page in Window, Fit Spread in Window, Actual Size, and Entire Pasteboard.
(iii) The Zoom Level pop-up menu in the left side of the application bar.

(i) When you dick the Convert Direction Point tool on a point on a selected path, InDesign converts the point to the other kind of point- if the point you click is a comer point, InDesign converts it to a curve point; if it's a curve point, InDesign converts it to a comer point.
(ii) You can also use the Convert Direction Point tool to adjust the direction handles of a point.

The Direct Selection tool (press A) is used to select single object out of a group (several individual objects grouped together with the Object, Group command) or to select one or more points on a path of a single object.

(i) There are so many drawing tools in PageMaker.
(ii) Line tool, Rectangle tool, Ellipse tool and Polygon tool are four main drawing tools.

Changing Text Colour:
You can change the colour of the text Your design may look beautiful if you choose a text colour other than black.
To colour characters
(i) Select the text you want to colour.
(ii) Choose Window> Show Colors in Menu bar. The Colors palette appears.
(iii) Click the colour you want to apply to the selected text The characters change to the colour you selected in the palette.

To magnify part of a page by dragging:
i) Select the zoom tool.
ii) Drag to draw a marquee around the area you want to magnify.
iii) To zoom in or out while using another tool:
Press Ctrl+Spacebar to zoom in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Spacebar to zoom out

(i) Once text has been attached to a frame or flowed inside it, you can separate the text and frame.
(ii) To separate text from a frame.
(iii) Click the frame with the Pointer tool.
(iv) Choose Element> Frame> Delete Content in the menu bar. The text will not appear in the frame.
