Clean Screen
(i) The Clean Screen button hides most interface elements such as the Ribbon, and maximizes the drawing area to focus on the current drawing.
(ii) This button is at the lower right comer of the screen.
(iii) Choose the Clean Screen button again to restore the previous display state of the screen.
 

Ortho Mode (F8)
(i) You can turn ON or OFF the Ortho Mode just by clicking on it.
(ii) If the ORTHOMODE button is chosen, you can draw lines at right angles only i.e., lines can only be drawn vertically or horizontally.
(iii) You can also use the F8 function key to turn ortho on or off.

Products such as games, educational software, online advertisements and product demonstrations are referred to as applications.

(i) It is used to transform a gradient fill by adjusting the size, direction, or center of the fill.
(ii) The Free and Gradient Transform tools are grouped within one icon on the Tools panel.
(iii) To see the menu containing grouped tools, click and hold the tool icon until the menu opens

(i) The combination of picture, images, text & colors that gives us any type of infomation is called graphics.
(ii) It is printable. Exp. Hording, banner, logo.

A logo is the smallest entity that symbolizes a company.
(i) It is often treated as a marketing material.
(ii) Designing a logo for a company demands great observation and creativity. 
(iii) A logo should be designed in such a way that a common man can easily relate it with the company.
(iv) It should be memorable and eye catching. It should help in growing the company name into a brand.

Status bar is the area at the bottom of the document window.
i) It displays information about selected object properties such as type, size, colour, fill type and outline.
ii) The status bar also displays the current mouse position in the document window.

To open or close the Tools panel
(i) Choose Window > Tools to close the Tools panel. To reopen the Tools panel, choose Window > Tools again. (or)
(ii) Press Tab key (with any tool but the Type tool selected) to close all open panels, including the Tools panel. To reopen those panels, press Tab again.
(iii) We can also close a floating Tools panel by clicking its Close box.

(i) InDesign has-two main type tools: Type and Type on a Path. The Type tool is used to create a rectangle text frame where you can store text in your document.
(ii) The Type on a Path tool is used to add text along the inner or outer edge of a path.
(iii) In addition to the type tools, you can also use the Frame tools-Rectangle, Ellipse, and Polygon-to add text to your document.
(iv) The default font is Minion Pro Regular.
