Q represents C₂ & P represents C₁
Reason:
The slope \(\frac{q}{v}\) = C is grearer for Q.
According to given conditions \(\frac { \varepsilon A }{ d } \) the capacitance is larger for C₂
∴ The area is large & d is same
Hence Q represents C₂.

This is due to the fact that
(i) electric field is radial
(ii) electric field E ∝ \(\frac{1}{R^2}\)

The given graph represents E ∝ \(\frac{1}{C}\)
This is satisfied by the expression E = \(\frac{q^2}{2c}\)
E ∝ \(\frac{1}{C}\)
i.e. the charge q is kept constant.

(i) Area of the plates
(ii) separation between the plates.
(iii) Dielectric constant of the dielectric between the plates. The capacitance of a capacitor depend upon geometrical dimension and the nature of the dielectric between the plates.
