Take MCQ Mathematics Test

1.

Identify other pairs of adjacent angles of the parallelogram.
2.
Is an equilateral triangle a regular polygon? Why?
3.
Is a rectangle regular polygon? Why?
4.
In the following figure, find the measures of x, y, z and w.

5.
If the exterior angle of a regular polygon is 72°, then what is the number of sides of the polygon?
6.
ABCD is a parallelogram. Given that OC = 4 ern and DB is 5 em more than AC, find OD.

7.
In a parallelogram if measures of two adjacent angles are in the ratio of 4:5, find all the angles
8.
In the figure, PQRS is a parallelogram. Find x, y and z.

9.
If two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio 2:3, then find the measure of angles.
10.
In a parallelogram ABCD, if ㄥA = 105°, then find the other three angles.
11.
Is it possible to have a regular polygon with measure of each exterior angle as 22°?
12.
How many sides does a regular polygon have, if each of its interior angles is 165°?
13.
In the given figure, find the value of x+ y+ z + w + s.

14.
What is the measure of each interior angle of a regular pentagon?
15.
If three angles of a quadrilateral are 90°, 100° and 110°, then find the measure of fourth angle.
1.
The other pairs of adjacent angles of the parallelogram are \(\angle C,\angle D\) and \(\angle D,\angle A\) .
2.
Yes; An equilateral triangle is a regular polygon because it is both equiangular and equilateral.
3.
No; A rectangle is not a regular polygon because it is equiangular but not equilateral.
4.
x = 120o, y = 100o, z = 120o, w = 80o
5.
5
6.
6.5cm
7.
80o, 100o, 80o, 100o
8.
x = 100o, y = 100o, z = 80o
9.
72°, 108°
10.
105°, 75°, 75°
11.
Given, measure of each exterior angle =22°
We know that, the sum of the measures of all exterior
angles of a regular polygon is 360°.
∴ Number of sides of a polygon
= \(\frac { { 360 }^{ 0 } }{ Measure\ of\ each\ exterior\ angle } =\frac { 360^{ 0 } }{ { 22 }^{ 2 } } =\frac { 180 }{ 11 } \)
which is not a whole number.
Hence, 22° cannot be an exterior angle of a regular polygon.
12.
Firstly, find the measure of exterior angle by subtracting measureof interior angle from 180°.
13.
We know that, Sum of the exterior angles of any polygon is 360°,
∴ x+ y + z + w + s = 360°
14.
1080
15.
60°
