Water is called universal solvent as it can dissolve maximum materials.

Wet clothes placed on a clothesline get dry after some time due to evaporation. In this process, water present in wet clothes is converted into water vapour which is released into atmosphere .

Animals unable to cope in harshen conditions go to sleep to prevent extreme cold and food shortage, this is known as hibernation.
