firstly, convert both the numbers into same unit.

\\=({5\over500}\times 100)\%=1\%\)
Hence, 1% parts are defective.
(iv) Total number of voters = 120
Number of voters voted yes = 90
\(\therefore\) Percentage of voters voted yes
\(=({Number \ of \ voters \ voted \ yes \over Total \ number \ of \ votes }\times 100)\%
\\=({90\over120}\times 100)\%=(3\times 25)\%=1\%\)
Hence, 75% of voters voted yes.
