The various ways women apply to fight discrimination and seek justice are:
Campaigning:
(i) It is an important part of the Women's Movement. Campaigns have led to new laws being passed in 2006 to give legal protection to those women who face physical and mental violence within their homes, also called domestic violence.
(ii) The efforts made by the Women's Movement led the Supreme Court to formulate guidelines in 1997 to protect women against sexual harassment at the workplace and within educational institutions.
(iii) In the 1980s, for example, women's groups across the country also campaigned for bringing justice to those families which have became prey to dowry deaths. Finally, this became a public issue in the newspapers and society, and the dowry laws were changed to punish families who seek dowry.
Raising Awareness: Women, in order to fight against discrimination, work hard to raise public awareness on women's right issues. They do so through several means such as street plays, songs and public meetings.
Protesting: When a law or policy acts against the interests of the women, the movement raises its voice by holding public rallies and demonstrations. These are the powerful way of drawing attention to injustices.
Showing Solidarity: The Women's Movement is also about showing solidarity with other women and causes.

There are two types of sellers in the market, one in the weekly market and other in the shopping complex.
Small trader has little money whereas the other has more money to set up their shops. They earn unequal amounts. The weekly market traders earn little as compared of a regular shop owner in a shopping complex.
Even buyers are also differently placed. There are some who can not afford cheapest of goods and some shop in malls.
Therefore these markets depend on money as buyers or sellers.

The people of prairies are very hard working. They have successfully harnessed technology to utilise their rich natural resources:
(i) USA and Canada, the most developed countries are located in this region.
(ii) Scientific methods of cultivation and use of tractors, harvesters and combines of both have made North America a surplus food producer. Thus the Prairies are also known as the "Granaries of the world," due to the huge surplus of wheat production.
iii) Dairy farming is another major industry. Dairy farming and extensive agriculture both promote setting up of food processing industries.
(iv) Large mineral deposits mainly coal and iron and a good network of roads, railways and canals in this region have made it the most industrialised region in the world.

When they both were treated unequally, their dignity was violated and they felt humiliated. (i)Omprakash Valmiki's schoolmates and teachers badly hurt his dignity, by making him sweep the school, because of his caste. He felt that he was less than equal to all other students in the school. (ii) Valmiki's father felt angry by this unequal treatment. He confronted the teachers.
(iii)The Ansari's dignity was also hurt when people refused to lease their apartments to them.
(iv) Their dignity was also violated, when the property dealer suggested them to change their name.
(v) They both did not deserved to be treated like this. They deserve the same respect and dignity as others.
5.
Advertising is a very important part of getting people to buy a brand, therefore the advertisement should be such that it gets people attracted towards the product. The process of making advertisement has following steps:
(i) First of all, profiling of the consumers is done by considering who will buy the product and so the campaigning will be according to that.
(ii) For doing this, research specific companies are hired.
(iii) After the result, the brand identity that suits or appeals to the selected category is created.
(iv) An angle which is different from all the other advertisements of the same product is chosen. Then a tag line and the brand name is selected and a presentation to the client is made.
(v) The visuals are tested amongst a targeted audience. Then the campaign is finalized and released.

(i) The invention of the steam engine and the Industrial Revolution helped in speedy development of rail transport.
(ii) Diesel and electric engines have largely replaced the steam engines.
(iii) Superfast trains have been introduced to make the journey faster.
(iv) The railway network is well-developed over the plain areas.
(v) Advanced technological skills have enabled laying of railway lines in difficult mountain terrains also.

Various domains of the environment are:
(i) Lithosphere,
(ii) Atmosphere,
(iii) Hydrosphere,
(iv) Biosphere
(i) Lithosphere: It is the solid crust or hard top layer of the earth, which is made up of rock and minerals and covered by a thin layer of soil. It provides us forests, grasslands, and lands. It is a source of mineral wealth.
(ii) Atmosphere: It is the thin layer of air that surrounds the earth. It protects us from the harmful rays and scorching heat of the sun. It consists of the numerous gases, dust and water vapour. The gravitational force of the earth holds the atmosphere around it.
(iii) Hydrosphere: It is the domain of water and comprises various sources of water such as rivers, oceans, lakes, seas, etc. It is essential for all living organisms.
(iv) Biosphere: Biosphere or the living world is comprised of plant and animal kingdom. It is a narrow zone of the earth where land, water and air interact with each other to support life.

(i) Kabul became commercially and politically important from 16th century onwards because along with Kandahar it was linked to the "Silk Route".
(ii) Trade in horses was mainly carried through this route.
(iii) Camels carried dry fruits, carpets, Silk, dates and fruits from Kabul to the subcontinent.
(iv) Slaves were also brought over here for sale.

(i) During the thirteenth century a new wave of the bhakti movement began in North India. This was an age when Islam, Brahmanical Hinduism, Sufism, various strands of bhakti, and the Nathpanths, Siddhas and Yogis influenced one another. Ordinary people like craftspersons, peasants, traders and labourers spread their ideas.
(ii) Kabir and Baba Guru Nanak rejected all orthodox religions. Others like Tulsidas and Surdas accepted existing beliefs and practices but wanted to make these accessible to all. Tulsidas conceived God in the form of Rama. His unique creation Ramcharitmanas, written in Awadhi is an example.
(iii) Surdas was an ardent devotee of Krishna. His compositions, compiled in the Sursagara, Surasaravali and Sahitya Lahari, express his devotion.
(iv) Saints like Dadu Dayal, Ravidas and Mirabai are worth mentioning here. Mirabai was a Rajput princess who married into the royal family of Mewar in the sixteenth century. She became a disciple of Ravidas, a saint from a caste considered "untouchable". She was devoted to Krishna and composed innumerable bhajans expressing her intense devotion.
(v)A unique feature of most of the saints is that their works were composed in regional languages and could be sung.
