Indian Atta Mills Association reported that Atta production during the first fortnight of December 2010 was about 1,93,500 tonnes as against 1,89,000 tonnes during the same fornight in 2009. The offtake of Atta from the factories during the first fortnight of December 2010 was 1,41,500 tonnes for exports as against 77,000 tonnes for internal consumption and nil for exports during the same fortnight in 2009.

Read the given passage and answer the question that follows: Diagrammatic presentation of data provides the quickest understanding of the actual situation to be explained by data in comparison to tabular or textual presentations. This presentation translates quite effectively the highly abstract idea contained in numbers into more concrete and easily comprehensible form. Diagrams may be less accurate but they are much more effective than tables in presenting the data.
Explain the advantages of diagrammatic presentation over the tabular or textual presentation

(b) Above data can be presented diagrammatically by the' Component bar chart' because it is very useful in comparing the size of different components.
Pie Chart/Diagram can also be used as it is a component diagram in a circle form. Absolute values of the components are to be converted into percentage, which are further converted into angular components.
