(i) Text Operator : In Calc, "&" is a text operator which is used to combine two or more text. Joining two different texts is also known as "Text Concatenation".
(ii) Row and Columns : A row is a horizontal group of values within a table. It contains values for multiple fields, which are defined by columns. The rows are numbered from 1, 2, 3…. OpenOffice Calc version 4.1.5 contains 10,48,576 rows. A column is a vertical group of values within a table. It contains values from a single field in multiple rows. Each column is labelled as A, B, C, D ….. AA, AB, AC …..It contains 1024 columns.

There are four options available in Insert cells
(i) Shift cells down
(ii) Shift cells right
(iii) Entire row
(iv) Entire Column

(i) Yes, you can edit the contents of a cell.
(ii) Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then press F2. This starts Edit mode and Positions the cursor at the end of the cell contents.

(ii) Copy → Ctrl + c
