The main objective of EXIM Bank is to coordinate the various activities of institutions and bank engaged in financing foreign trade.

Export and Import Bank is one the specialized financial institutions wholly owned by Government of India was set up in the year 1982 for financing, facilitating and promoting foreign trade of India.
