If \(\theta \) in the angle made by the resultant acceleration, then \(tan \ \theta =\frac { { a }_{ 1 } }{ \left( \frac { { v }^{ 2 } }{ r } \right) } \) where at is the tangential acceleration and \(\frac{v^2}{r}\) is the centripetal acceleration.

(i) Displacement is the difference between the final and initial positions of the object in a given interval of time. (ii) Distance is the actual path length travelled by an object in the given interval of time during the motion. It is a positive scalar quantity.

When a point object is moving on a circular path if the velocity of the object changes both in speed (magnitude) and direction the motion is said to be non uniform circular motion.

One radian is the angle subtended at the center of a circle by an arc that is equal in length to the radius of the circle.
1 rad = \(\frac{180}{\pi}\) degree = 57.295o
5.
The acceleration of a particle at any instant 'r' is equal to the rate of change of velocity.
Acceleration \(\overrightarrow{a}=\frac{d\overrightarrow{v}}{dt}\). It is a vector quantity.
