Simple Epithelium	Squamous epithelium
Simple epithelium is composed of a single layer of cells.	The squamous epithelium is made of a single thin layer of flattened cells with irregular boundaries.
They are found in the organs of absorption, secretion and filtration. Simple epithelial tissue is further classified into squamous epithelium, cuboidal epithelium, columnar epithelium, ciliated epithelium and pseudostratified epithelium.	They are found in the kidney glomeruli, air sacs of lungs, lining of heart, blood vessels and lymphatic vessels and are involved in functions like forming a diffusion boundary and filtration in sites where protection is not important.

Tight junctions help to stop substances from leaking across a tissue. Adhering junctions perform cementing to keep neighbouring cells together. Gap junctions facilitate the cells to communicate with each other by connecting the cytoplasm of adjoining cells, for rapid transfer of ions, small molecules and sometimes big molecules.

1. These fibres never get fatigue.
2. Blood capillaries penetrate the cardiac muscle fibres, hence they have very rich blood supply.
3. These muscle fibres are supplied with both central and autonomic nervous system.
4. These muscle are not under the will of the animal.

1. The recovery would depend on severity and location of injury.
2. Minor and moderate tears can be treated by non-surgical methods.
3. Recovery period may be from 6-8 weeks.
4. In severe cases, surgery may be repaired.
5. Healing period may extend upto 3 months in this case

Bone	Cartilage
1. It is hard and inflexible.	It is comparatively soft and flexible.
2. Bone cells called osteocytes are present in spaces called Lacunae	Cells called chondrocytes are enclosed in small cavities within the matrix secreted by them.
3. Marrow is present.	Marrow is absent.

The Areolar connective tissue beneath the skin acts as a support framework for epithelium and acts as a reservoir of water and salts for the surrounding body tissues, hence aptly called tissue fluid. It contains fibroblasts, macrophages, and mast cells.

(i) It is a chronic neurodegenerative disease.
(ii) It causes loss of remembering recent events.
(iii) It is responsible for the problems with language, disorientation and mood swings.
