Crops utilize minerals and nutrients form soil for growth and development. Regular sowing of crops in soil leads to exhaustion of soil minerals and nutrients. This adversely affects the crop yield and soil fertility.
It requires a need of replenishment of the soil nutrients consumed by crops to compensate the nutrient loss and make the soil ready for next harvest. It is done using the method of crop rotation and use of manure and fertilizers.

1. Animal husbandry is care and management of the farm animals by humans in which the cattle are reared in such a way that the qualities that are beneficial to human beings are improved.
2. By using practices of animal husbandry, better breeds of draught and milch animals are produced .

Manure is organic matter derived from animal faces and plant waste. When the plants are cultivated continuously on a field, the soil gradually loses its nutrients and eventually gets depleted.
Thus manures and fertilizers are used to provide nutrient to the soil due to which the crop filed is enhanced.
