Sclerenchyma cells are grouped into (a) fibres and (b) sclereids.

(i) During this stage chromosomes become short and thick and are clearly visible inside the nucleus.

Lymph is a colourless fluid filtered out of the blood capillaries. It consists of plasma and white blood cells. It mainly helps in the exchange of materials between blood and tissue fluids. Therefore it is called as middle man between tissue cells and blood.
