Ileum is the longest part of the small intestine. It contains minute finger-like projections called villi. They help in absorption of food.

Urine is stored in the urinary bladder and expelled through an opening called urethra. This opening is guarded by sphincter muscles. When these muscles relax, urine is expelled out and this process is called micturition. The sphincter muscle control is voluntary in an adult.

The human body functions normally at a temperature of about 37°C. (ii) It makes the medium acidic for the action of gastric enzymes
