About College

The Allahabad University was established in 1887. It is one of the oldest and top universites in India recognised by the UGC of India. It is located Near "Anand Bhawan", Allahabad, U.P.  In the year 2005 Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development granted Central University Status to Allahabad University.The University has more than 322.04 Acres campus. Allahabad University boasts off a rich library that contains more than 1,50,000 volumes in total, excellent laboratories such as Soft Skills laboratory, English lab, psychology lab, civil engineering lab, electrical lab, mechanical lab.

University of Allahabad offers well-established professional programmes in Business Management, Electronic and Tele-communication Engineering, Law, Medicine, Educational Training, Human Resource Development and Management, Journalism and Mass Communication among others. In accordance with the UGC Scheme for vocational courses, vocational options have been provided in the graduate degree programmes.
