About College

The Baliapal College of Physical Education was established JUNE 1981, located at Baliapal, one of the most populated areas of Balasore district of Orissa State. The Bachelor’s degree programme of one year duration (B.P.Ed.) was started in 1981 and Master’s Degree course (M.P.Ed.)was introduced in 1987.The Institute started as an affiliated college of the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and then came to the fold of Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in 1999. Presently the college offers a one year Bachelor’s degree programme (B.P.Ed.) with 60 intake and a two years Master’s programme (M.P.Ed.) with 30 intake with due recognition from National Council for Teacher Education.
