Govt. (Autonomous) Post Graduate College in the main objective to provide quality education in various fields and overall development of the students. The College which is completing more than forty seven years of service in education is one of the autonomous College.The college mission is to develop well qualified, globally accepted, world class technically sound professionals, capable of updating with cutting edge technologies, innovative research ideas with social commitments and highest ethical values as inner strength, for the upliftment of man kind, trained through high profiled experienced faculty, career oriented courses and interactive teaching-learning process.

It provides all the facilities to our students so that they can excel in their life and grow up to the level they can have a better future for themselves. It also provides all the help to the students to concentrate more towards their education. The teachers are recruited as per the M.P. Govt. rules and UGC guidelines. The State Public Service Commission advertises teaching post in leading news papers. The selection committee is formed by State Public Service Commission and offer interview and the selected candidates are appointed as Asst. Professor in the Govt-Colleges.

The College has freedom to appoint a teacher for short term in self-financing courses. The College encourages teachers to organise and participate in faculty improvement programme. Four teachers have participated in national level seminars and one teacher invited to attend international seminar as a resource person.
