Kanyakumari Government Medical College, Kanyakumari is among the reputed medical colleges of Tamil Nadu. The foundation stone of the college was laid in 2001. The medical college began its first academic session in 2004. The college is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
