TheLakshmibai National College of  PhysicalEducation  (LNCPE),   Kariavattom, P. O Thiruvananthapuram  is a  part of the academic wing ofthe Sports Authority of India (SAI). The college  is affiliated to University of Kerala and it aims to  serve as a model  institute for teacher's training by offering undergraduate and post-graduate/research courses.

          Besides the academic programs, thecollege runs sports_ training schemes of SAI in a few disciplines.It providesexcellent facilities for the upliftment of Physical Education and Sports in thecountry. The picturesque 50 acres of land facilitate for play fields, traininghalls, Swimming pool, Cycle velodrome, hostels, staff quarters, andadministrative building which accommodates Class rooms, Laboratories, assemblyhall and library.
