About College

Padmaja Naidu College of Music, Rajbati was established in June 1975. The college is named in the memory of Late Padmaja Naidu.  It is sponsored by the government of Bengal and affiliated to the University of Burdwan. The main objective of behind the foundation of the college is to  develope a  centre of higher training and research in music, in order to serve the people of Burdwan. The college has not only gain the popularity in india but also around the world.
 
The college has recorded a remarkable development over a span of 10 years, during which its potent concept has had its considerable impact on the educational and cultural life of Burdwan.The college also provides the opportunity for higher training in Music. The college was graced by the services of many famous singers and artists like Late Pandit Dhrubra Tara Joshi, Pandit Rabi Sankarji, Late Ustad Villayet Khan Saheb, Late Nikhil Bandyopadhyay and many more.
