About College

Vidyasagar College of Optometry and Vision Science (VCOVS) was started as a dream project in 1998. It is the only specialized Optometry College in Eastern India with good infrastructure, best faculty with clinical training. The college is dedicated to the proper development of education and enhance the subject properly.

VCOVS is devoted to teaching, research and clinical care. This is the only University affiliated and Govt. recognized optometric college, which is exclusively for a graduate programme in Optometry and Vision Science in the state of West Bengal. In the Eastern India,this is the pioneer college for developing educational programme with full facilities for comprehensive eye care.
